Our equipment ensures that your dog will have minimal radiation exposure and provides a clear image and aids our veterinarians in diagnosing any issues with your dog! It also allows us to email the images to any referral center!
Radiographs are a key aspect in diagnosing several medical conditions and diseases, including; heart disease, liver and spleen enlargement and masses, gastrointestinal blockages (foreign bodies), etc.
Most animals do not need any preparation for x-rays. However, sometimes depending on the animal, a sedative may be needed. Please ask your veterinarian if there is anything you can do to make the process easier for your dog!
