Torbay Road Animal Hospital opened on March 17th, 1997 to accommodate our east end clients and their cherished furry friends. It was opened by Dr. Hendrik DeZeeuw and Dr. Sanjay Ralhan as a sister clinic to Sunrise Animal Hospital in Mount Pearl, NL. Torbay Road Animal Hospital is located at 286 Torbay Road in the Coaker’s Meadow Plaza, in St. John’s, NL.

Our practice offers cutting edge medicine, a modern facility and superior pet products. We also provide our clients with professional and compassionate service. What started out as a clinic with one vet, and four support staff now has two locations, nine veterinarians, six RVTs and 49 support staff! Our growing team is proud to play an important role in the lives of the people of St. John’s.

As the capital of Newfoundland and Labrador, the city is an economic and cultural centre. That being said, it still maintains its cozy atmosphere, and is the quintessential Maritime city. St. John’s is known for delicious seafood, brightly coloured row houses, puffin and whale watching, the East Coast Trail, Cape Spear Lighthouse and many more tourist attractions.
