Does my indoor cat need to be vaccinated?

Yes, it is recommended they be vaccinated. Please visit your DVM who can provide the most accurate information concerning your cat’s vaccinations!

What are FVRCP and core vaccine for cats?

Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia or FVRCP for cats is an important part of your cat’s routine. It can prevent multiple potentially deadly airborne viruses.

How often does my adult cat need to be vaccinated?

We recommend feline leukemia once a year and FVRCP once every three years. When you come into the clinic for vaccinations, your cat will also get a full exam! Please give us a call at the clinic if you have any questions or concerns.

Are there any risks associated with cat vaccines?

Yes, while uncommon, your DVM can talk to you about any risks associated with any vaccines your cat is receiving.
