A compassionate procedure for cats suffering from chronic pain or terminal illness.
Making the decision to say goodbye to your beloved cat can be an extremely difficult one. Euthanasia is one of the last things we can do to show love to our beloved pet who is at the end of their life or who are suffering from pain or illness.
Euthanasia is a humane way of ending a pet’s life who is in pain or who is suffering. It is often helpful to look at the current quality of life your pet has. Do they still love their favourite food? Do they still enjoy playing with their favourite toy?
Please speak to your veterinarian and they can explain the euthanasia process to you and answer any questions you may have.
Yes – we do encourage clients to stay with their pet if they are comfortable doing so.
