Regular treatment to eliminate intestinal worms that could endanger your cat's health.

Cats with outdoor access are most likely to get worms and a pregnant cat can pass worms to her kittens. Worms can be contracted from fleas, mosquitoes, soil, rodents or other prey, and the feces or vomit of other animals. Common types of worms that may turn your healthy feline into a miserable ball of fur include hookworms, roundworms, tapeworms and heartworms.

Tapeworms, whipworms, hookworms, pinworms, mange and fleas.

If my cat has worms, what symptoms should I look for?

Weight loss, vomiting, anemia, diarrhea, scooting their hind end.

Are worms dangerous to humans?

Yes, several types of worms can cause problems in humans, including threadworms, roundworms, tapeworms, whipworms and hookworms.

What is the deworming schedule?

For kittens, 8, 12 and 16 weeks. For outside cats, once a month and inside cats should be once every 3 months.

Are there any side effects from deworming medication?

Yes, but they are very rare. Please talk to your veterinarian about any side effects your cat may experience as a result of deworming medication.
