An Argentina native, I am a 2002 graduate of the National University of La Plata, in Buenos Aires. In Argentina, I worked at the Veterinary School for several years in the Animal Care Services and Animal Husbandry as a veterinarian and lecturer.
After relocating to Canada in 2004, I enrolled in a Master’s program in Neuroscience at MUN, where I developed my research skills. During my Master’s program, I worked very hard to obtain my Canadian Veterinary Credentials to practice here in Newfoundland.
I have a prolific interdisciplinary research record with multiple publications. While working in academia and the private sector, I developed various skills and areas of interest, such as animal well-being, preventive care, internal medicine, orthopedic procedures and soft tissue surgery. I joined the Torbay Road Animal Hospital team in 2021 and am very proud of that.
